Midway High School art student Anna Seago competed in this year’s annual TAEA Visual Arts Scholastic Event (VASE) and was awarded a medal at the state level. Anna advanced through both regional and area competitions to compete against entries from high schools across Texas at state.
Anna’s artwork earned a medal and received a Superior Rating at regionals, and she also medaled at the area competition to qualify for state.
The High School VASE competition honors exemplary student achievement in the Visual Arts by recognizing a high standard of excellence for high school art students and programs to achieve. Congratulations to Anna on her state medal and to Midway High School Art Teacher John Storm.
