Midway ISD is proud to announce that assistant principals from three MISD campuses swept the Region 12 assistant principal of the year awards for every grade level in their respective professional development organizations. Christy Watley was named Elementary Assistant Principal of the Year (TEPSA), Mandi Bronstad won Middle School Assistant Principal of the Year (TASSP), and Becky Odajima is the High School Assistant Principal of the Year (TASSP). These outstanding leaders provide consistency in all levels of our administration and at all grade levels.
For the 2016-17 school year, Christy Watley is the new principal of Hewitt Elementary following Diane Gough’s retirement. Becky Odajima has been named Associate Principal of Midway High School in place of Alison Smith, who is now head principal in Comal ISD.
