Midway High School chemistry teacher Krystle Moos was recently named Region 12 Secondary Teacher of the Year after being recognized as Midway ISD’s District Secondary Teacher of the Year.
Moos, who has been teaching for 12 years, was chosen for this honor out of teachers from 77 school districts across Region 12.
In addition to teaching, she is a professional learning community leader and serves as coach for the science fair and science UIL.
As Region 12 Secondary Teacher of the year, Moos was also nominated for Texas Teacher of the Year.
