River Valley Intermediate fifth grader Rida Hussain won the Daughters of the American Revolution essay contest entitled “World War I: the War to End all Wars.” DAR Sponsors Angela Granger and Savannah Dietrich presented to Rida her awards for the best essay: a certificate, a medal, and a $50 check.
