Castleman Creek PE Teacher Jalayne Rinewalt does not do things part way. As a way to inspire students, their families, and staff to stay healthy, active, and positive, she makes workout videos. They are complete with group dance scenes, cameos, custom graphics, personlized lyrics, and usually a panther mascot.
When asked why she creates custom videos instead of just using pre-made workouts, Rinewalt said, “COVID-19 might be here for a while, but at CCE, that just means we have another reason to make a video. When life throws us a curve ball, we swing for the fences. Covid brings many uncertainties. However, being active, staying positive, and making other people smile are guaranteed ways to make ANYONE FEEL GOOD!”
