For many years, the Hewitt Chamber of Commerce and Midway ISD have partnered to foster strong community growth. More than ever, the Chamber’s member businesses have joined in to support our students this school year.

In the fall, the Chamber staff and ambassadors helped open the Midway Middle School Store to help a grant project in which student workers run the school store as an actual business. The Chamber annually awards scholarships to Midway seniors (living in any city of our district). The 2015-16 scholars are pictured to the right. In the spring, the Chamber launched new community events such as the Spudtacular Car Show, which benefited Hunger Free MISD with a $500 donation. The Chamber generously offered to feature Midway ISD quarterly in their community magazine, highlighting the school board, students from each campus (below), a district map, contact info, profile, athletic calendar, and (upcoming) a look at district finance.
