Midway student wins world championship titles

932-1757dRELEASED_HarrellMarissa Harrell, 15  a sophomore at Midway High School, won Two World Championship Titles and a Reserve World Championship Title June 29 & 30 at the American Paint Horse Association (APHA) Youth World Championship Show in Ft. Worth, TX


Marissa and her horse, Who Whiz Apaintedchic, Aka Sandy, won a World Championship in Novice Youth Reining 18 & under with a combined score of 216.5.


World Championship in Youth Reining (14-18) with a combined score of 217.5 and a


Reserve World Champion Title in a new class Youth Ranch Horse Pleasure (18 & U)


Marissa’s prizes include 3 belt buckles, 3 jackets, ribbons, patches, horse feed, shampoos for horse, etc.


Marissa and Sandy have been working 2-3 years to get to this point.
